Aedas Reveals Mixed-Use Urban Development in Shenzhen

Aedas unveiled Shenzhen C FutureCity a two-phase project located in Futian’s Shangsha Village. This design demonstrates how we “converse to the future” and create an urban lifestyle center between corporate and residential towers.

The first phase comprises high-rise twin office towers as well as residential towers. The second phase features residential, retail and cultural facilities. Both phases have three major themes: technology, nature, and art. This design combines two styles into one cohesive master plan. It preserves the village’s folk identity and revitalizes the area with its corporate identity.

Phase 2 is composed of organic-shaped, low-rise buildings that are surrounded by lush greenery and glass facades. The public plaza has wide-span platforms that can be used for social gatherings. It also includes water fixtures, terraces and miniature gardens. The Phase 1 twin tower offices have reached the curtain wall installation phase. The second phase is still being constructed.

Aedas recently unveiled its design for Shirble – The Prime, a mixed-use development to revitalize Shenzhen’s Ba Gua Ling Industrial Zone. The retail podium is connected by a sky-park 150m above ground. From this, one office tower rises and three residential ones rise. This high-density development will respond to the city’s housing demand while bringing together multiple aspects of urban living in one building.
